Madrigal Classical Guitars are made with the best materials and craftsmen following the handicraft building method as learned from the Spanish Masters. All guitars have solid tops for arich warm sound, mahogany or rosewood back and sides, rosewood or ebony fretboards, topquality tuning machines and a sophisticated.
Very important is the way the neck is fixed to the body. Madrigal guitars have a 'Spanish Heel' construction as used by all Spanish Guitarbuilders. The neck is incorperated in the construction of the body. Lesser quality instruments have necks glued to the side of the body reinforced with a small piece of wood at the inside. The thin wood of the bodyside cannot stand the tension of the neck.
